Open editor

Private by design — no uploads

Edit PDFs online — without uploading them.

Edit text and images, fill and sign forms, organize pages, OCR scans, redact sensitive data, compare versions, compress, convert and use private AI — directly in your browser.

Your document stays on your device.

One workspace, not thirty upload funnels

Files never leave the device

There is no upload endpoint. PDF.js renders, pdf-lib and QPDF rewrite, Tesseract reads scans — all compiled for your browser.

Everything in one editor

Remove a page, OCR page 4, fix a typo, sign, redact an email address, compress — then export once. Undo works across every tool.

Honest about fidelity

Pixel-exact operations are labelled as such; conversions to Word, Excel or PowerPoint are clearly marked best effort.

AI that stays local

Ask questions with page citations, summarize, or type “delete pages 3 and 5” — the plan is shown before anything changes.

All PDF tools

Each tool opens the same editor, already set up for the task.

How “processed on this device” works

  1. You open a file. The browser reads it into the tab's memory. Nothing is transmitted.
  2. You edit. Changes are kept as a list of edits, so undo is instant and nothing is destructive until you export.
  3. You export. A new PDF is assembled on your device and saved straight to your downloads (or a file you pick).
  4. You close the tab. The document is gone — unless you switched on local autosave, which keeps a copy only in this browser.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The editor is a web app that runs inside your browser tab. Opening, editing, OCR, AI and exporting all happen on your device; the site only serves the app's code, fonts and — if you switch on AI — model files.

Can I really edit the existing text?

Yes, for PDFs with a text layer: click a line and type. It's redrawn in the closest standard font, and the editor tells you when a font can't be matched exactly. For scans, run OCR first.

Is redaction secure?

Redaction removes the content under each box from the exported file — the affected pages are rebuilt without it — and the output is re-checked automatically. Whiteout is a separate, clearly labelled visual tool.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, core editing keeps working without a connection, because nothing is sent to a server.

What does it cost?

The editor is free to use with no account and no watermark.

How is the AI private?

The model runs in your browser using WebGPU or WebAssembly. Your text, questions and answers never leave the device. AI is optional — every other tool works without it.
