About PDFEditorOnline
A complete PDF workspace that runs in the browser — where the document, and the AI that understands it, stay on your device.
Why build it this way
Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server to process it. That's convenient, but it means contracts, payslips, medical letters and ID scans pass through someone else's computer. Browsers are now powerful enough to do the work themselves, so this editor does: rendering, editing, OCR, encryption, redaction, comparison and AI all run inside the tab.
One editor, many tasks
Every tool page — Compress, Redact, Fill & Sign and the rest — opens the same workspace preconfigured for the job. You can remove a page, OCR a scan, fix a typo, sign, redact and compress, and export once.
Honest about limits
Some things are exact (rotating, merging, splitting, encrypting). Others are reconstructions (editing text in a font that can't be reused, converting to Word, Excel or PowerPoint, OCR). The editor tells you which is which, every time.
