Edit a PDF online — without uploading it
Click existing text to correct it, add new text boxes, images, shapes and links, then export once. The editor runs entirely in your browser tab.
How to use Edit PDF
- Open a PDF (or drop it on the page).
- Choose Edit text and click the line you want to change, or add new text, images and shapes.
- Undo anything, across every tool, until you're happy.
- Export — the new PDF is written on your device.
When to use it
- Fixing a typo, a date or an amount in a finished PDF.
- Adding a logo, a note or a signature block to a document you received.
- Covering and replacing outdated text on a form or price list.
What to expect
- Existing text is redrawn in the closest standard font (Helvetica, Times or Courier, or an embedded Unicode font). Unusual fonts and tight kerning may look slightly different — the editor warns you.
- Replaced text covers the original letters; it does not delete them from the file. Use Redact when text must be removed.
- Scanned pages have no editable text until you run OCR.
Questions
Can I edit the text that's already in the PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text and click a line. It becomes an editable box styled to match. If the PDF is a scan, run OCR first.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Opening, editing and exporting all happen in your browser. The site only serves the app code.
Do I need an account?
No account, no sign-up and no watermark.
